OpenMark is a Web application and framework for the assessment of the knowledge of people. Its main use is the assessment of students after an university course, but it could be applicable in any situation in which a group of people is requested of answering to a set of questions. The set of types of questions/answers is wide and extensible: from a single selection answer, to a free text answer that will be automatically (or semi-automatically) evaluated.
The application is composed by two main parts: the authoring subsystem (for the teachers) and the test answering subsystem (for the students). Both subsystems are accessible through a Web interface.
This site is still a work in progress. Please refer to the project pages for the latest news.
